Four Year Anniversary

On this very day I made my vows before God to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.

Marriage isn't an easy life. Not all get to be married and life happily ever after as fairytale stories end. It's only the beginning of a story for a newly married couple with many chapters to be written. Stories being written when days were better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health.

What really matters is, despite the ups and downs of a married couple goes through in life, one can witness the amount of love and cherishing they have for one another.

Marriage is much more than a status. Much more than a piece of legal document. Marriage has a lasting affect for generations to come. Marriage is not a two person commitment. It is a "three-cord strand."

"Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." -Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV

Without God in the center of our lives, it will be difficult to receive His grace and it will be more difficult for my wife and I to love and to cherish each other.
Happy Anniversary Res! I'm looking forward to many more years to come!
