Another year older

Today is my birthday!! I thank God for giving me another year of blessings.  He never fails and always there for me and my family.  Alicia and B are going home today from youth camp and I'm off today! I heard Alicia got baptized yesterday. I'm very proud of her to take that stand and knowing the meaning why Jesus came to us.  She's growing so fast and pretty soon she's no longer my little girl.

My birthday is very special this year because not only the good Lord blessed me with my life, He gave us a gift, WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!   I'm 3months pregnant and we are very excited.  I get butterflies in my stomach each time I look at the ultrasound pictures.  The gender is going to be a surprised, how exciting!! I'm praying for a healthy pregnancy and hoping I will overcome nausea soon.. :(

Thank you Lord for keeping us safe and we are forever grateful for you are the salvation.  Life is worth living especially when you know Jesus Christ.

Sunday afternoon

Today is a very fun day with my daughter, Alicia. It seems like it's been a long time since we had a date together. This is what I missed sometimes, a day only with Alicia. Sometimes, I wake up in the morning thinking, wow...she's growing so fast. On the other hand, I also feel like I'm getting older so quickly ;-) Today we had lunch after church and went shopping. Today's sermon was good. Being a leader is not easy. When i said being a leader, it doesn't mean leading a country. We can be a leader in our family, church and/or at work. When it comes to raising my daughter, I want to guide her to have a good relationship with the Lord and teach her how to set goals for herself. I want to teach her how to be tough in life with compassion to others and do not give up whatever life throws at you. I tell her that life is too short to waste. Do not worry so much about everything or little things. I just want her to be a happy kid and let go of the things are not worth worrying about. I thanked God for my family. While I'm writing this, Bernard and Alicia are cooking fried chicken and spaghetti! hmmm yummy! We are going to have good dinner tonight!

Verse for this week:

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. -John 14:1

*Thank you Lord for your provisions and for your unmeasurable love for me and my family.

Happy New Year

It's the first day of the new decade.  A new beginning and a new start.  At this moment, I haven't come up with a title for my new blog, but I do have a direction in where I want it to go.  This will be my family blog where we like to share our best and even our worst days with you.  Our extended family are spread across the four corners of the world.  Philippines, UE, Ireland, Hawaii, West and East Coast United States just to name a few.  In this way, this blog will keep all of us closer no matter the distance.  One love, one tribe. Happy New Year!
